Danish Welfare Paradise

Another day walking the bureaucratic jungle... Back to the unbelievable GLASS PALACE with light-green, avantguarde glass facade - there were fancy etchings on the panels, resembling... GRAFITTI. Eight stories facade full of fucking grafiti! Danish design is a world leader, what a building, the atrium as big and more fancy as that of HYATT in Singapore... Awesome! After sitting an hour with my #37 - waiting ticket, I was picked up by another male, strong, 40-ysh. Poul. I think at this point in the proceeding - entry processing - they use males. Same in the lobby, lot of blue-shirted watchmen, for a stupid violent new-danish from Somalia or Lebanon they look just like COPS. Lot of violence have been reported in the danish media by pissed-off wannabee-recipients beeing denied the access to Danish Welfare Paradise... Poul and me had a nice chat about my sick mother in Slovakia, and I promised him a my used railway ticket from Prague to photocopy into my files. He read about my case for like 10 mnts. while I studied pics of his family and vacations on a wall beside him. I'll get something like DKK5,831 (abt.$690) clean each month into my account. And he gave me a paper stating that anyone hiring me old 52 year old fart will get from the City of Århus DKK52.32($6,20) / Hour. All I have to find a place where they will let me sit by a terminal and do my things. Nice prospects, but at least something is happening on this, so neglected, front!

Temple of Unemployment

Circuss today at the (Un) Emplyment Office here in Århus. They got a new, BIG office building, the best you can get for taxpayers money, in Denmark or in the World! Bigger, if I remember, than the Municipal Hall (Rådhus) in Copenhagen, where I got married back 30 years ago... Anyway, I registered then was directed to the Job Exchange, and new registration there...

I like this "BLOGGER"...

This is seems real nice, will write more tomorrow. And the "team" feature! Might be nicer than Homeclick...

Now I set up the FTP to my danish Cable ISP, les'see if it works: My first Post... And it suceeded! Hurrah, have my own BLOGGER...
